Church Street Grocery: Reviews & Ratings
Small Southern towns all seem to have that one, unassuming restaurant, usually off the beaten path, where the local folks come to eat lunch day after day. The food is so good you just can’t help yourself. Church Street Grocery is “that place” in Morrilton.
Great little mom and pop joint with good bbq....Pulled pork was great....The ribs were really good and the beans were full of meat...absolutely loved it and Ms.Corrine was amazing. Very sweet and helpful
Great food at a great price! I'm addicted to the pulled pork bbq sandwich! The delli sandwiches look delicious too, though I haven't had one yet. They have daily specials . If you haven't tried them yet, you should!
You won't find a more authentic Morrilton & Arkansas experience than having lunch at Church Street Grocery. The BBQ is terrific but it's the atmosphere that makes the place. Just terrific!
This is one of my favorite places to eat. I have eaten a lot of different things here, and it is all good. The food is cheap, but they don't sacrifice the quality of the food for the price. You cannot find a better place to eat for the price. Some of my favorite things here are the ribs on Wednesday. The fish on Fridays, and of course the burgers on any day of the week. The barbeque is excellent too. I would highly recomend anybody stopping in to eat here. You'll leave happy guaranteed.
I dropped by to pick up lunch for a farm visit and couldn't have been happier with the quick, cordial service from the lady who waited on me, and the delicious food I ordered. The ribs I got are the regular Wednesday special and boy are they good, with a crispy skin and moist juicy interior and a wonderful barbecue sauce for dipping them in. The baked beans on the side were quite exceptional as well, and the salad that came with it was quite large and tasty. My friend ordered a fried bologna sandwich that looked out of this world, piled high with great Petit Jean meat. Highly recommend.
Best food in morrilton. Still the best bbq, brisket, ribs!!!

Among the standouts, the Ribs Plate is a true testament to the pitmaster’s skill. The ribs offer a perfect balance of tenderness and smoky richness, with a savory crust that speaks of hours spent over low, hickory fires. Equally compelling is the Brisket Plate—juicy, flavorful, and sliced thin, it melts in your mouth with a subtle hint of spice and smoke that lingers pleasantly long after the last bite.
